My Mission is to Rescue and Rehome German Shepherds
Wandering Shepherd Rescue is my tribute to the dogs lost and surrendered while dedicated to rescuing, fostering, rehabilitating, and rehoming German Shepherds in need. As a German Shepherd trainer and owner I had a life changing experience after losing a senior shepherd who was about to be euthanized and became aware of the unprecedented numbers of these loyal and intelligent dogs being surrendered and killed in shelters across the United States. I’ve made it my mission to find ways to protect and support the dogs who dedicate themselves to the care and devotion of their families.

Sometimes we lose a job, a home or even a family and suddenly we’re left with a dog and nowhere to go. Before you surrender your German Shepherd, remember that shelters are full, noisy and terrifying places especially for dogs that have been loyal to their owners.
